Piper, the months are continuing to fly by. We've gone past 7 months and 8 months, and we are already halfway through 9! You have gone through so many changes since my last post from 6 months that it's hard to even know where to begin.
7 Months
At 7 months, you were sitting up so well on your own. You were starting to explore more during playtime, but you still loved your jumpy! You started pulling your knees up and getting on all fours, but no crawling yet. Bath time became more of playtime with Dad...you loved splashing around! At bedtime and naptime, you started cuddling with your lovie...you alternate between a lamb and a bunny. You also started using a sound machine...how did we ever make it without one?
On March 14, a few days before you turned 7 months, your first two teeth popped through. You finally had bottom teeth, so cute!
You celebrated a lot of firsts, just like you do every month! This month, you went and visited Nana's school for the first time, and you had your first St. Patrick's Day and your first Easter!

Mimi took time during her Spring Break to come and visit, and we celebrated her birthday while she was in town.
At the end of March, we took our first trip back to Nola to visit the Smiths. You loved playing with Ava-Kate and Addie! It was such a fun week, and I know that we will have many more great times with Jake, Allie and the girls!!

The weather in late March and early April was gorgeous! We took advantage of it and played outside in the water. You were a little cautious at first, but you quickly started to love splashing around!
In April, we took our first family beach trip to Fripp Island. You saw the beach for the first time and felt the sand in your toes and the cold ocean water on your feet. Your Dad and I have been to Fripp many times. It was the place where your Dad asked me to marry him, so it will always be a special place to us! We hope that we can share many more great memories at Fripp!!
It seems so long ago since you were 7 months old! It's fun to look back and see how much you have changed in such a short period of time. Piper, we love sharing in all of your new experiences! You are such a joy and a blessing to us!
