This morning we awoke to a yard full of flamingos. A few had fallen down from the storm last night, but many had held their ground. Attached to one of them was a sign that said, "Congratulations! It's a GIRL!". We had a few guesses as to who it was, but weren't really sure until we found this...
Yep, Chris' mom (AKA Nana) was the culprit. She had sent us this "gift" through a fundraiser for the Bethlehem Youth Group. The flock hangs out in your yard for 48 hours, and then migrates somewhere else. For a $25 donation, you can have them sent to a friend...so friends beware! It's actually a really cute idea and clever fundraising strategy!
