We arrived in New Orleans on Wednesday afternoon. Stephanie and I drove the cars down packed with a few things and the boys. We stopped three times, but it really didn't take us that much longer than normal. Chris drove the truck and only stopped once, so he arrived about 30 minutes earlier than we did. After unpacking the truck and both cars, we started settling into our new place.
The house is amazing, and is in a great location. It will work perfectly for us, the dogs, and the new baby! And, it's only a few blocks from Jake, Allie and Ava-Kate Smith! It's nice to have them as our neighbors!! I've seen Allie almost every day since we moved in! She is due with another little girl in two weeks, so it'll be fun to help her out before our little one arrives.
The boys already love their back courtyard. There is a deck and a brick patio that is completely fenced in. It is a great place for them to play! Plus, there is a park right next to our house where we can walk them.
So now I feel a little more relaxed, knowing that this is where our little girl will be born! I can start washing her clothes, setting up her room, and preparing for her arrival! Less than six weeks to go!
