We are about 3 weeks into Saints training camp, and not having two-a-days has been a huge plus for Chris and the team. Camp is still a grind, with practices from 4-6:30pm (the hottest part of the day, with temperatures reaching almost 100 and the heat index well above 110), but at least it's only once a day. Chris is doing well, playing second string free safety most of the time and starting on all special teams. The team looks a lot different this year than in years past. There are a lot of new guys this season, and with this being Chris' 5th year he definitely feels like a vet. He and the other 4 veteran safeties have been helping teach the younger players Greg Williams defensive system. Thanks to the Saints website and photographer Michael Hebert, here are some great pics of Chris from camp so far.

I am so proud of Chris and how hard he works! He sets a great example for those around him, and he has earned the respect of his coaches and fellow players. He truly understands that God has him here for a specific reason, and he is taking full advantage of that every day!
I love you, Bubs! Keep working to bring God the glory!
